This film is absolutely brilliant!

I can't believe there are only 4 topics on this magnificent film! This film is excellent! Judy Garland is fabulous! Her movies never bore me. Fred Astaire is such a wonderful dancer and I love Ann Miller's Shakin' The Blues Away! Classic!

Another great classic from Hollywoods Golden Era of musicals, a Technicolor dream of a film that makes me laugh & cry as if Im seeing it for the first time with every viewing. Im so glad Turner Classic Movies airs it every year. For this film that I enjoyed so much from childhood with the wonderful Judy Garland, Ann Miller & Fred Astaire means so much more to me than just another Irving Berlin musical.

"Easter Parade" is a film that brings a flood of memories for me every year I see it from my childhood with my nanny who would always sing 'Easter Parade' to me every Easter & my 20something years in New York with my dear partner Xavier & I walking "on the avenue , 5 th Avenue" admiring all the "Easter Bonnets with all the frills upon it" . What a fun time in my life, young carefree & in love...

They are neither one no longer here in this world for me to see , but their memory & the joy they brought my life will live in my heart forever.

"I'll be dressed in clover , when the men look you over , I'll be the proudest fella in the Easter Parade"...

Sorry if I sound mushy or over sentimental people, thats just what a great film will do for you . Thanx Judy !!!

This is a really great film. I saw the beginning scene with Astaire in the store on Easter 2 years ago and now that I've been into classic films for over a year now, I thought it was about time I watched "Easter Parade" the whole way through.

A good film with many great, catchy Irving Berlin songs. Lots of beautiful color in the film topped off with Astaire and Garland together.
