Scotty Beckett

I found it strange that in the DVD credits he's billed above Xavier Cugat, yet his name is not anywhere on the DVD cover, not even in the movie description on the back!

Incidentally, he was cute and talented. He could sing, which no doubt was a plus. Terrible how his life spiralled out of control and that he met such a tragic end.

I was kind of annoyed at how Judy treated Oogie, who obviously adored her. Still, Scotty and Jane Powell made a great team, as they would later prove that same year in Nancy Goes To Rio (1948) although Scotty's part was smaller than in this film.
