Didn't know about this film until a few months ago

I saw this for the first time a few months ago. When I saw "That's entertainment' for the first time a year ago, I loved it and then started seeking a lot of the different films where the clips were from. Because it's hard to find a large selection of golden age films in stores and I didn't want to wait around until they showed each one on TCM, I started ordering many on line. I've seen and loved some of Elizabeth Taylor's classics over the years such as " Cleopatra", "Butterfield 8", and " Cat on a hot tin roof". I've also seen some of Jane Powell's other classics like "Seven brides for seven brothers". But never even heard of " A date with Judy" until I saw "That's entertainment" which shows Jane singing" most unusual time" and thought it looked like something worth getting. When I saw the whole film, it was pretty good, not fabulous. But I did like the big anniversary dinner at the end with Jane's song and the others wrapping it up nicely. It just makes for a good old fashioned family classic.
