Old Footage

The scenes of Harry Cording and Al Taylor attempting to bend the tracks so the train will derail is stock/archive footage lifted from the Allan Lane serial "King of the Royal Mounted". And, of course, many of the chases either on horseback or by car are also lifted from that serial.
