This film really was a gem! One of the greatest 1940's film Hitchcock didn't direct, it being an English movie... And Hitch would made this film all the better.
But... Still worth a view.

I was really surprised by it. I got it on a 50 Pack titled "NIghtmare Worlds" that was priced at $14.99 and I wound up getting practically for free because I had $15 in Best Buy rewards money. There are a few other titles along with this one on the collection that make the set more than worth the price.

As for the print quality, I would only say it could have been better in order to fully portray the quality of the original film, but with the exception of some shots near the end it was was a fine looking transfer.

I couldn't agree with you more! Definitely British Hitchcock-lite...7 or 8 out of 10 for me IMHO. A hidden gem that wouldn't have come to my attention, had it not been for Mill Creek. I want to get ALL of their sets now! =)
