Not a bad film, though the opening scene with the two flat-mates dragged a bit, and I agree with comments about the ending.

I was puzzled by the scene in the night club with the woman several times interrupting Quinada and Leonora to borrow a lighter. Was this just to emphasise that women found him attractive?

It highlights the place might had been a sort of pick up joint I reckon.
