Man, oh, man! When Laughton shoots his main goon off camera I literally shouted, "Oh s#!*!" Then he takes off like the coward that he is and ends up falling down the elevator shoot and my mouth literally dropped at how awesome the ending was!

yes and to have the shot fired off camera and not show the leading character...how many film directors (studios/producers) today would have the balls to do that!!
