yep, Pedro Infante and Emilia Guiú did a wonderful job in this movie.
One of the best melodramas from "The Golden Era" of the mexican cinema.

Pedro Infante was very handsome and talented, but this movie had some even more exaggerated sterotypes. It's 1970 remake of the same name is much better. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0245599/ They were human and decided to use real black actors. They are both the Mexican version of the magnificent "Imitation of Life" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0025301/ and it's 1970 remake of the same name http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0052918/ .
