Title Song

The Title song sounds like the Zorro Title song i may be wrong

It is just a reworked version of the score from Adventures of Robin Hood. All Steiner seemed to do was add a bit a Spanish sound for bridges between the main score. I couldn't watch tonight without thinking of Robin Hood.

Max Steiner wrote the music for "The Adventures of Don Juan", among many others. Erich Wolfgang Korngold wrote the music for "The Adventures of Robin Hood." The music from "Don Juan" was used as music in the George Hamilton farce "Zorro the Gay Blade."

I could swear it's a very similar score, especially the hook (might be the same hook), to The Adventures of Robin Hood". Sounds so similar, except with a touch of Spanish flavor thrown in via castanettes. I watched these two movies last night, back to back, (Don Juan and Robin Hood), and by the end of the night, I could not tolerate that "dun dun de dun dun, de de dun dun...", seriously, had to turn it off.

Hi,one can never be too rich or have too many friends. It was also the theme for The Goonies, directed by Spielberg

Actually, Max Steiner stole the Don Juan theme from the overture to Smetana's "The Bartered Bride". Funny that nobody caught him at it, especially since the same theme was used deliberately in the 1940 version of "Pride and Prejudice" to point out ironically the arranged marriage being plotted there.
