Ramond Burr

I think I might spend this year keeping an eye out for Raymond Burr. I was surprised, and delighted, to see him in this film. Seems he could act in anything.

Cheers to Raymond Burr. A guy I grew up thinking of as a TV lawyer.

You may have seen these already, but worth seeing again:

Rear Window (1954)
Godzilla (1956)
Centennial (TV mini-series - 1978)

Thanks cajun,

Seen Rear Window about zillion times;

Probably saw Godzilla umpteen times as a kid, not since really, but I probably didn’t pay much attention to any of the people back then; lol

Centennial… Never saw it.

Not big on most TV stuff; but I’ll keep my sights up just in case.

Thanks again!

I recently saw Raymond Burr in "Serpent of the Nile" from 1953. He plays Marc Antony. The movie is not that great, but I enjoyed watching Raymond walk around in a tunic He had great legs!

And don't forget him as the prosecutor in "A PLace in the Sun"

How about "The Magic Carpet"?

Lucille Ball (!) as the conniving Princess trying to usurp her brother, the caliph, with the help evil vizier, Raymond Burr?

I saw this when "I Love Lucy" and "Perry Mason" were all the rage. I was thoroughly confused.

Try The Blue Gardenia, great film-noir ! Fritz Lang director, a fantastic cast, one of my favorites.

Try also His Kind of Woman with Robert Mitchem, Jane Russell, and an over-the-top, scene stealing performance by Vincent Price. One of my favorite noirs that also throws Tim Holt into the mix, three years after The Treasure of the Sierra Madre.
