Nothing Special
Since this is the first posting on this message board, I feel free to not have a special topic:
1. No Oscar nomination for Jessica Tandy? I'm not saying she SHOULD have had one, but she COULD have had one. The competition was fierce: Ingrid Bergman, Olivia De Havilland, Jane Wyman, Barbara Stanwyck and Irene Dunne.
2. John Williams in a familiar role as a Prosecutor. He had much the same role six years later in "Dial M for Murder." Even in "Witness for the Prosecution," he was involved in a murder case.
3. Why is the film so unknown? Only 140 people have voted on IMDB. The rating of 6.7 is a little low this movie. Something between 7.5 and 8.0 would be reasonable.
