Yet another defective DVD set from Universal.
I had picked up Volumes 1 and 3 of Universal's Abbott & Costello DVD sets, each of which had to be returned TWICE because of damaged/defective DVDs. In spite of reading numerous online reviews of how messed up playback was on the second set, I decided to chance it to complete my Abbott & Costello collection. Sure enough, it's another problem-plagued product from Universal. I've gone through two of these, and am going to have to take it back to the store yet again in order to find a good one. And I see, by a number of magazine and online reviews, Universal's DVD set of Hammer horror films is also setting new records for defective merchandise. Does anyone at the company have a clue?
