This movie is absolutely charming and I think way ahead of its time. There is much innuendo here and it is marvelous. Very real and true to life. The stars are perfect for this film. Eleanor Parker is a delight, Ronny Reagan is handsome (and what a head of hair), Eve Arden is the best and her clothes are magnificent. Wonderful movie and so glad I caught it on TCM. Bravo TCM !!!

I remember the first time I saw this delightful movie, my dear departed dad was the one to introduce me to these 'special kinds of movies' (sadly they don't make them any more), and I've loved them ever since. I'm still waiting for it to become available on DVD, which I hope is real soon, because I'd like to make it a part of my special classic library set. What a movie in deed.
