At the Internet Archive they have some Warner Brothers gag reels posted. The 1946 reel starts with a clip from this movie and there are a number of others throughout. You can find it here:

Just click on the "play now" arrow and when the viewer opens there is menu at the bottom . Click on "1946 Blowups".

Maybe because it wasn't selling under that title. Maybe people thought it was a sea adventure.
