Bogart quote

Does anyone notice that Bogart kinda quotes (in so many words) one of his many famous lines from Casablanca in this movie??

The line from Casablanca: "Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."

From The Two Mrs. Carrolls: "I have a feeling this is going to be the beginning of a beautiful hatred."

Lol!!

"I promise you, before I die I'll surely come to your doorstep"

Neat !

I open the door here ---

Any other parallels / parallel lines in this movie ?

"A bride without a head !"
"A wolf without a foot !"

Just saw this movie for the first time and noticed that. Cracked me up. Plus, most of the movie isn't bad. It could have used a twist - like maybe it was the daughter all along, since she was so "Children of the Corn" creepy, or the housekeeper - but the cast was great.

Yes, noticed it big time!!

The funniest part was at the very end when the policemen taking him away were asked by Bogie "Would you like anything to drink, a glass of milk?" (paraphrasing of course).

I almost fell out of my chair.

Yes!!

Yes, it was noticeable. Kind of shows how his part, and this story, is a flip on Casablanca.
