an odd interesting film,worth seeing

This is an odd interesting film.
TREVOR HOWARD looks crazed in this,is he actually drunk all the time or what?he is meant to be 27 but looks much older.

The cast looks amazing,the bad guys look like crooks to me and the violence is strong for its time.

But the script is weird,there are lots of wise cracks which make you think the film is trying to copy American gangster films but there is a black humour which is more British.
