I agree 100%! When a movie is so well done, with the definitive actors in the roles, why would anyone want to ruin it? Some things are better left alone, and the classics are one of them.

Steve Martin starring in the remakes of Father Of The Bride, and Pink Panther 1 & 2 are prime examples of why you leave well enough alone.
