Turner Classic Movies will show SONG OF LOVE ON November 19th at 10:00 PM. Although it had a home-video release on VHS, SONG OF LOVE is probably one of the least-shown Hepburn films.

Big Katefest on TCM now! I am loving the way Brown handles children in his films, as always ... "Thank you, Uncle Brahms ... Do you like me, Uncle Brahms? ... Do you love Mommy?" And so we get the lovely lullaby ... !

And what did you think of the magnificent scene introducing the baby to Brahms!! Brillant!!! Who knew infant crawling on the screen could be so spellbinding! And then the kids rushing later in the scene, first an older sister, than multiple kids, handled just superbly and hilariously. This movie needs to be used as a key example about how superb a director Clarence Brown could be. there are many outstanding, creative moments in the picture.
