I've actually seen 2 versions of this short, I seen the version they later colored and another on tv, the tv version had the same story but many alternate scenes including a scene where shemp goes into a storage room of some sort. has anyone else seen the alternate version?
shareYour "other version" is "another" film, Rip, Sew and Stitch 1953. Another is in quotes because the "new" film is almost entirely original footage from Sing a Song... with a few minutes of new footage added (including the store room scene.) As budgets were cut in the later years more and more reuses of scripts, and actual footage were used. Aside from the "fake Shemps" old footage of Curly with back to the camera or new footage with other actors backs to fit old scenes were also used.
