Is anyone aware of any plans for this to be released on DVD? Thanks.

I'm not aware of any plans for this to be released on DVD, but would not be surprised. I am surprised that the film is in color. Was it originally in black and white, and then color added?

Hi mcmonet and thanks for posting. I had given up on hearing anything. That's a good question about it being in color. I'm not sure, I had always assumed it was originally filmed in color. But I guess that would be rare for a film to come out during that time period in color.

Many films in the 40s came out in color. If you watch the beginning credits it says filmed in technicolor.

All Grable's 20th Century Fox muscicals of the 40s were Technicolor.

I have it on DVD as a 20th Century Fox Cinema Archives release
