Warner Home Video is releasing The Sea of Grass on April 12, 2011, separately and as part of a box set featuring all nine films in which Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn co-starred. The set includes a 1986 documentary with Hepburn and others speaking about Tracy and his career. Most of the films have already been issued on DVD but some, like Sea of Grass, are new releases.

This is the one film controlled by Warner that was not included in last year's excellent Elia Kazan box set of 15 films, so it's good to finally have it released as a companion piece. It was also Kazan's only film for MGM.

It might be out of print by now (I don't know), but even if so copies should still be available. Most of the titles had previously been released individually (I think only two exceptions) so you may have some already. All the films themselves are still available separately, if this set is OOP.
