Best performance

Although this is not one of the most popular Tracy and Hepburn films, it does contain a wnderful performance by Robert Walker as their adult son. I think he steals the show!

This has to be one of the longest, most boring movies I ever remember watching. Along with Giant, it is one that seems like it will never end. Too bad, because usually Tracy and Hepburn burn up the screen.

The problem is that Tracy and Hepburn don't actually spend a large percentage of the movie together. Nor do their characters allow the kind of witty repartee of the best Tracy/Hepburn films.

As for Walker, I generally like the actor but I thought he was out of place in this film. Between his dialog and his direction, he could have just stayed home.

I didn't care for Walker's performance. Upon a horse, he looked like a fish out of water.

I am not a fan of the duo. But this is their best.
