The dog before Penelope*SPOLIERS*

I have "scent-mental" and "odor-able" on a disc not realizing that these two cartoons are the first in the P.L.P series.

This cartoon differs from "odor" by having a little chihuahua become the object of the Skunk's unwanted attention.
I think the person who summerized the plot has the wrong end of the stick.
The dog belongs to an upper class society (think of Paris Hilton's pooch Tinkerbell) who feels left out of a fur coat against all the other snooty dogs in town.
My heart actually went out to that little dog, especially in her breakdown in the park "Why's everyone running from me....NO body lovess mmeee!"
You really feel for her in the next scene when Pepe zooms out of nowhere and begins his merciless wooing.

Several memorable lines will get you giggling away like i did: "Ahhh..le moon...Ahhh le june...Ahhhhh le swoon...AHHH(gives Tarzan's yell while dog slips out of his arms)..looove that girl."

Or the scene where the dog, exhausted from running flops to a sudden shower and thunderstorm. It's actually Pepe creating the fake rain and thunderstorm for dramatic effect.Corny as the scene is, the tongue in cheek humour is more endearing than off putting.

I could go on..assuming fellow Pepe viewers join in..

"God is in his Heaven, and all is right with the world."
