Watch for In joke

During the filming of Road to Rio, Bing Crosby became involved with investing in Minute Maid Orange Juice, the first frozen orange juice company. He also got Bob Hope to invest in it. Bing told the producers that he wanted to put a sign advertising it in the picture. At first, the producers were reluctant to plug an actual product, but because of Bing's influence at Paramount, the sign stayed in. You have to watch very carefully as it is in one of the street scenes.

Another in-joke was in the meat freezer scene. One of the sides of meat was stamped "Crosby Stables," a dig at the quality of Bing's string of race horses.
