locating a copy of Pink Horse

I'd love to know how viewers are able to see/purchase/rent Ride a Pink Horse since it is totally unavailable on VHS or DVD. I've been searching for it for months...

Ride the Pink Horse will be showing on TCM on Jan 9th, 2004 at 7PM Pacific time. This is a rare chance for you to record this fabulous Noir film.

It has been about 2 years since it last aired on TV and they rarely show it. Don't forget to record it! It is certainly one of the best Noirs of all time, easily in the top 5.

Cheers,

Cathye

Hi

I saw it last night and thought it was really good. However, could you explain the ending? I didn't understand what she was saying in Spanish at the end when the group of children are around her and the FBI and the guy walk off. I missed the first minutes of the movie so I don't know if it was related to that.

I would have figured he'd take her with him or stay behind.

Thanks

SPOILERS**
I just saw the movie, and I would love to know what Pila was saying at the end, too. I get idea that she was acting the big shot, and saying something about what a fool he was and how she hit him over the head with a bottle..?

reply

I don't think she was talking about hitting Gagin over the head, but that cowboy that came in to the little bar and saw it was him face down on the table. Remember while the guy was checking if it was Gagin she hit the cowboy over the head with a bottle. So I imagined she was telling them how she saved him. (Which she and Thomas Gomez did!) I love this movie. Not your typical noir.

I just bought a copy (really good copy) from rareclassicdvds.com for $15.00. If you haven't already gotten a copy, this is the place. They have a lot of unavaliable titles....all for $15.

A site called raredvds4sale is cheaper, and very reliable.
