Pardon me if I disagree. I first saw this film on TV in the early seventies, which was a golden age for film buffs if lived in NYC area where we you could see all kinds of movies on local TV channels. Several scenes stuck in my head, particularly the opening scene, I had not not seen this film again until the early 90's when was fortunate to live near a video store that was owned by a real film fan and he had a bootleg VHS copy I rented. I still enjoyed the film even more than when I first saw it as teeneager
