One of the 12

original Western Film Noirs and truly one of the best. Magnificent!

Let it be unsaid: insignificance is the locus of true increpation.

It is magnificent, but what are the other 11? I guess that others could be Winchester '73, Johnny Guitar, Bad day at Black Rock... The man who shot Liberty Valance, if you count post-noir period. What could be the others, my friend?

reply

Since UR genuinely interested I will make the effort to include them here.

The Oxbow Incident
Blood On the Moon
Pursued
My Darling Clementine
Station West
Yellow Sky
Rawhide
Devil's Doorway
The Halliday Brand
Johnny Guitar
Winchester '73
The Track of the Cat

Bad Day at Black Rock is not period so its not included. Of course, there are a few others that might be included, but these are the ones I have researched and most film scholars tend to agree on these. So, that's the view from here. Thanx for asking.

Thank you.
Beside Johnny Guitar and Winchester '73 (and Pursued, of course), I've only seen My darling Clementine and The Ox-Bow incident. Blood on the moon and Station west are in plans for awhile, but I hope I'll see all these I haven't so far. Thanks again, cheers.
