Odd Man Out - Fate and The Robbery Money

Movie girl: THis is an outstanding film like no other I have ever seen. After viewing it several times, I have found it surprising about two elements. Maybe they are over-shadowed by future events.

Johnny is sorry a about the accidental killing. We wonder why, perhaps, he is not arrested and taken to court for a trial? Instead he is hounded by the police to his eventual demise. It is an accidental killing in which Johnny was wounded.

Secondly, the three sacks of money the robbers have acquired are now in oblivion. Does it no longer matter? When the organization disposes of the money for further funding, we no longer hear of it. Yet, it was a considerable amount of money.
