Does Belfast look anything like this?

I didn't think this looked like London, but couldn't place it. I was watching while I did other things, and didn't realize or recognize it was about Ireland. I know it was filmed on sets in London, but...

Does this remind anyone who knows Belfast of it?

This was filmed on location in Belfast - a few interiors were done in the Studio. The "Four Winds" pub actually exists under the name "Crown Bar", and it is protected by the National Trust as one of the gems of Belfast. The street-kids were recruited from a local orphanage.

To answer your question, the city has undergone so much redevelopment (and less pleasant things) that it is a lot different, but you can still find neighbourhoods that look like this.

Thank you.

One street scene shows the Albert Clock (a tall clock tower similar to Big Ben) situated at the end of High Street where Victoria Street crosses.

Considering that much of this was actually filmed in Belfast, especially exteriors, I would say yes, Belfast does look something like this. I've been to Belfast, and I definitely recognized some of the buildings.
