Orange juice?

I pride myself on "getting the references" in movies that are years before my time, but for the life of me I can't figure Hope's comment after it starts to rain on them while driving with the top down. "Orange juice!" he exclaims with resignation, as he's proven wrong in his assertion seconds before that it "never rains this time of year". Anyone?

he had JUST said it NEVER rains in so cal this time of year, so (as a joke, to save face) he puts up his hand as if testing the rain, and says it must be raining orange juice... what else could it be raining this time of year in sunny southern california?

the last 40 minutes in the TCM version has an awful buzzing... hopefully they will get a better copy.

stewie griffin: - "i love you", brian griffin: - "what?", stewie: - "uh, orange juice", brian: - "orange juice?", stewie: - "orange juice you too..." 💋 😌 at first i was disappointed to notice this was a comedy, the original or translated title didn't point that out but i guess i should've noticed the lead name, and right off his appearance made me think of quagmire in "family guy" where the resemblance has been brought up, and i think i heard seth is a fan of his, anyway, it has some funny joke bits despite of comedy having a way of aging poorly, like the word play at the beginning of the movie and my favorite part was the branches revealing the entire sign like the "national lampoons european vacation" movie bit, but the only reason i decided to sit through it was because i enjoy the acting of universal horror icon lon chaney jr, by the way, he looks like a pretty big fella around peter lorre. his profession made me think this might have been spoofed in the movie "easy money" (1983). what a weird unusual camera shot of the street as he looks out the window.
