Shenandoah

I just saw Mourning Becomes Electra and was wondering if anyone knew the name of the gentleman singing the solo in Shenandoah during the opening credits. He has a very nice voice (I'm a voice teacher, so of course I would notice that part), but I saw no mention of his name.

By the way...the new opera of the same name that just ran in New York had a friend of mine (Emily Pulley) in the title role. My reason for seeing the movie!!

Thank you!

This is really late and you probably don't care anymore, but if it is the correct adaptation of the play the singer should be the character Seth played by Henry Hull.

The song was mismatched to the visuals.

But this is a very clunky piece of moviemaking.
