I have contacted Fox about getting this movie released onto dvd and I need to get a list of people also demanding it's release, to help. Anyone who would like this movie to be released onto dvd, please contact me so that I can compile a petition.

Please add me to your list. It's my favorite Grable (and Dan Dailey) film, and according to this site it was Betty's also. We also need to get Fox to include the complete musical number (reported here also) which was cut from the film before it's release. Thanks for doing this!

Yes, this must be released on DVD, not only because it is a musical starring Betty Grable and Dan Dailey, but because it is the only chance people have to see the original "Banana Man" (A. Robins) do his bit. (His other filmed appearance was in the Red Skelton short "Seeing Red", which is not likely to be released on DVD, except possibly in a collection.) After Robins' death, another actor picked up the act for television, doing appearances on shows such as Captain Kangaroo.
shareFox released the DVD-R earlier this year, and, after purchasing it recently, I'm here to report the copy has excellent sound and picture quality. Definitely worth the wait, and highly recommended.
