This is one of my favorite films, with great perfomances by Joan Bennett, Robert Preston and Gregory Peck. It needs to be on DVD!!

I just finished reading the short story and didn't even know there was a film version available. I'd be keen to see it, so I'll second the "needs to be on DVD" comment. :)

I have a VHS tape of this, over 20 years old. It's one of my favorite movies of all time, and it's certainly on of Bennett's top two performances. I'm just afraid that the tape will break one of these days!

wonder if there is legal trouble with the estate-has it been shown even on TV in the past 20 years? one of my got to sees along with "The Private Affairs of Bel Ami" and Fritz Lang's "Man Hunt"
