"Ivy" (1947) has some similarities to "Dr. Crippen" (1963). Both films are set in Edwardian London, and involve the poisoning of a spouse.
Actually that's Dr. Crippen (1963), not 1964, but that's unimportant.
Thanks though for sharing. This sounds really interesting, especially since it was based on a real-life case. Did you know that DNA evidence discovered in 2007 suggest the found victim wasn't his wife? That was fascinating if not familiar.
I'm all over true crime shows and that is extremely familiar but only vaguely.
