I had never seen this movie until last year when TCM showed it-never even heard of it. But I decided to watch it and fell in love with it. What a delightful little movie and I literally cry at the end..Mike says,"Let's nail up that board in the fence, next year he's coming in the front door--I lost it..
I'm getting old and sentimental and perhaps cry to easily now days but that really got me.
Its a great Christmas movie, I think this is probably one I will start watching every year!

shareWhen I read that Turner Classics might start making administrative changes and go for new demos in order to add revenue and maintain operations without adding commercials, I look at what they do so well: introduce movies like this to other generations and perhaps gain new fans in the process.
