It was funny. Most movies like this, where the audience knows the secrets but the characters don't are very annoying. This one wasn't so bad. Although McKeever REALLY got on my nerves. He was annoying and really creep. I could have went without his character.

THANK YOU. I tend to have a hard time with parasitic types with a preachy sense of entitlement. Loved the dog, though.
shareI am another of the rare souls who did not like this character. Although it was more Victor Moore s portrayal. Charlie Ruggles was fantastic but Moore spoke so carefully like he was drunk and trying to hide it.
shareHe is kind of a device that puts a very wealthy, prideful man in his place. Does he become a bit much sometimes with his ordering Daddy Warbucks in the house doing labor? Maybe, but he does redeem himself at times with his monologues, accompanied by whimsical music.
