Why use the song title for a movie title?

I caught the last 15 minutes of this movie on TCM, but was puzzled by the title. It was a very popular song at one time. Did it have any relevance to the story? From Wikipedia, it looks like it was a filler for movies of the past. Written in 1924.

The song is a "standard" in that is never really goes away. Standards get recorded over and over again by different singers in every generation.

Having said that, it could just be that they liked the title. I myself, this very night, am writing a treatment for a new rom/com and that song popped into my head as a potential title. I had to do a search on imdb to see if had been used before. As it turns out there have been 4 features using the same title, plus various TV productions and shorts, etc.

So, to answer your question, they probably thought, like I did, that it was a great title for a movie.

To me, the song title suggested that she couldn't marry anyone until she found the man that she had dreamed of

I think the title is very fitting. It describes the movie perfectly.

Woman, man! That's the way it should be Tarzan. [Tarzan and his mate]
