Mark Stevens-Alan Ladd

Somehow I see them as the same type, but as a song and dance guy...no. Obvious he can't sing and the little hoofing he did here shows that some practice would be sufficient. I saw him with Lucille Ball as a hard boiled detective, I think it was his first movie role, similar to roles that Alan Ladd did for Paramount at the beginning of his career. Wonder why he didn't he get top billing for this role though...it was the main character and he was in most scenes. To his credit though..he had a hot affair with Hedy Lamarr, leaving his wife and then going back to her after Hedy felt guilty.
