Not bad at all, but.....

Darned if I had a hard time telling those two sisters apart!

Two gorgeous actresses in the roles - Barbara Britton and Dorothy Hart - and they played sisters extremely well, one would think they actually *were* related.

Good thing I had it on DVR...I had to constantly run it back to ensure I knew which sister was saying what.

It was the same for me: I too enjoyed the movie but also had to keep pressing the play back button to keep clear which sister was which.

The film is well worth the watch--an above average western for sure.

I didn't have much trouble distinguishing between the sisters, but found it hard to maintain my interest when I saw the film on Youtube.

Scott and the locations looked great, and the colour was excellent for 1947, but there were too many implausible situations, starting with the opening gunfight and Inskip's intervention when Kane was about to hanged. Unarmed Kane kept on putting himself in situations of extreme hazard, characters seemed to be able to find each other without any trouble and the wrapping up of the legal technicalities at the end was far too neat.

Scott (or his double) suffered a couple of bouts of rough & tumble with little apparent damage to his clothes. Kane's brutality in getting a confession (for what it was worth) out of Yount was surprising for a 1947 film.

A rather long 84 minutes.

Difficult to distinguish between the sisters, and also between the two sheriffs or whatever they were, the guys with badges. Not only that, but the print they are showing on Amazon Prime is terrible--the lowest definition I've ever seen.
