Babe is a sexual predator.

She just needs to leave bobby alone, he's clearly not that into chicks anyway.

Maybe the actor who played Bobby wasn't but "Bobby" was hetero. I forced myself to watch this film knowing it was a musical after seeing Peter and June were the stars.

I thought they were serious dramatic actors seeing them both in multiple films but I cannot believe the accuracy of the dancing and the great singing and unprecedented speech accuracy per frame. Was that for real? During the Library scene...the peace pipe scene/ all of the movie? Incredible. Ive watched part of some modern musicals and there is no comparison. And the 2 stars are A-plus....if they were singing (Lawford and Allyson) dubbed its the best synch lipping ive seen. Were they ever singing live because the transition from verbal to musical seemed so real unlike Grease and others.

Back to Bobby...yeah she was in love, but the guy was hot! Give him a couple of years and gain a little in no time. Bobby was the bomb.

June was a singer homes. Lawford on the other hand...not so much. He sounded like he was gonna pass a stone half the time.

Bobby was clearly gay. He just didn't know what to do about it! He was in love with Tommy (WHO WOULDN'T BE?!?!?)!

Babe was a horny chick in the beginning looking the boys, boys, boys galore
Bobby was NOT gay, he was just afraid Beef was gonna beat him up and the guy that played Bobby Ray MacDonald was straight--- he was a hottie indeed he had a sexy little butt for a skinny guy and that outfit he wore in "Pass the Peace Pipe" number very cool the blue sweater, cement colour bellbottoms and the spectator shoes that is very Polo/Ralph Lauren--- what a shame he died at 37 years of age.
Peter Lawford was a good looking dude, he remains me of someone in my high school days

I loved that outfit too! Very 1920s. It reminds me of a couple of outfits that Gene Kelly wore in Singin' in the Rain.

Another classic homosexual. I love his wife (She was great in "The Snakepit" and "Marty"), but she was clearly a beard.

No straight man makes a film that is 93 minutes of mime and dance...

I bet bobby loved invitation to the dance.

Joan McCracken was smoking HOT in this film.

reply

Hmm.. I think she has a certain stunted gophery appeal... but smoking hot? I just don't know.

reply

Uvtha: From you Avatar you would not know 'smoking hot' if She fell on you, naked.

reply

xerses13: I really fail to see how you could draw that or any other conclusion (other than potentially some of my comedic taste) from my avatar...

reply

Uvtha: Hold the picture up and look into a mirror, it will be then evident.

So, what you are saying is I look like Stephen Fry, and thus could not possibly gauge someones attractiveness "correctly"?

That's a reach, buddy.
