I will do research but I know gypsies roam for place to place.. but where they prosecuted or shunned in Germany? Not sure what happens in this movie yet but seems as if it was safe to be a gypsy ... Now people just shun them, especially when they are known to be con artists these days. I will have to look it up but where gypsies invested in black magic?

Its strange how Lydia seemed like royalty in the film... Yet gypsies didn't have much.
