The Good Christ

Running throughtout this movie is the theme of "the Good Christ". Unfortunately, the Catholic Church leadership today is an example of "the Pervert Christ". Wish this Pope would resign and return our beloved Church to the example of this movie. That Priests are here to guide the folk in a Good Christ manner, with love and care of their fellow man, the raising of children and to enrich, in a spiritual way, our presence here on Earth.

I thought this was a wonderful movie and that Henry Fonda played the role of a caring Priest in an excellent manner. It is so trite today to hear far left whack jobs attack others with the saying, "What Would Jesus Do". Watch this movie and you'll see, in the Fonda character, exactly what Jesus would do and it wouldn't be to promote abortion, bank bailouts, union give-a-ways and elimination of the secret ballot in union elections.

Jane Fonda and Peter Fonda should watch this movie and try to understand it. I love anything Pedro Armanderiez does. Talk about a commanding screen presence. Delores Del Rio was excellent and J. Carroll Nash gave me the chills. Ward Bond? Outstanding as usual.
