Is this a 'lost' film?

William Holden and Joan Caulfield are about the most gorgeous couple on screen in the forties. Billy DeWolfe and Mona Freeman are at their comic best. It is a great WWII period comedy. I love this movie although I haven't seen it on TV for many years and I noticed it is not availbale in VHS or DVD. If anyone knows if this is being preserved, let us fans know, please. Thank you.

I like the title "lost" film. This is an interesting movie about GI v. hometown tensions and the aphrodesiac of war. It's a sweet movie, too. You think it would get more attention.
