Music on the radio...

When Bogie's 'Rip' is in his hotel room and calls the front desk to ask if there are any news stations, there is a slow jazzy tune playing on the radio. I've tried looking up music used in this film, but unfortunately, in those days they didn't detail music in films like they do now.

Does anyone know what that song was? I don't think it was 'Shoo Fly Pie and Apple Pan Dowdy", the song Rip was referencing, as it was an instrumental, no lyrics.
