when Bogie gives Agnes Moorehead the candy...

...and she puts the pillow on the floor and kneels on it so she can open the box was done in such a sexy way! I have developed such a "thing" for Agnes Moorehead! I thought the way she knelt, along with the coy conversation, was suggestive of her giving him some oral love (the BJ was NOT invented in the 1960's, after all!). Agnes Moorehead carries herself so well in everything I see her in, and she appears to have the body of a slim 30 year old...Loves me some Agnes!

Moorehead, please (Bogie might have said a little later)

Agnes Moorehead was one of the great actresses of her era, however I can't see the attractiveness; maybe because I see her as Endora ;-)

For who would bear the whips and scorns of Hollywood... (;-p)

Yet that whole time that "Alan" was in her apartment Madge doesn't recognize Vincent's voice. Weird.

I don't think she looked hot in the film or anything, but I'll admit that the pillow part was sexy.

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!

And it was pretty aggressive/suggestive of her to feel his watch on his wrist, too. I can't recall a femme fatale from any film of the era doing anything like that.

"No, I don't like to cook, but I have a chicken in the icebox, and you're eating it."

Until today, I always thought that she seemed to recognize Vincents watch and this is what got her suspicious of who he was. This can't be though because he had just left prison with no watch.

Madge had quite a wardrobe, too. Quite '40's, just before The New Look.
