A total jerk, and the strangest thing about him was how he called others, even men, by the silliest names. Sugar Plum, honey bunch and...lmao...Dewdrop, which is what he called his father-in-law. Who wrote such drivel? At first I thought he just called Daisys friend Honey Bunch, but he also used it when talking to a guy in the restaurant.
Something about that made my chuckle. I loved when his daughter, and even Peter, called him by those same names.

shareJust a thought, but could Dan be employing the use of silly names when addressing people because he can't be bothered with remembering, or ever finding out, their real names (like the restaurant employee, secretaries ). This would go along with a narcissistic personality.
