I had never seen it before and when RO said it was their first airing I thought that explained it...then I came on here and found posts about it mentioning TCM and being several years old...someone dropped the ball in preparing his intro.

Robert Osborne was correct in his introduction, this movie was never shown on Turner Classic Movies. Whom ever posted that they had seen it before, would probably have meant on America Movie Classics (when it showed only classic films that is)as this movie was shown many times on AMC. I first saw it on AMC many, many years ago. I loved it, yes it is 'corny', but I guess that is what I liked about it, and I found the video at moviesumlimited.com and bought it! I have watched my copy many times over the last 10 or so years (yes, I still own a VCR!) and have enjoyed it each and every time. I was happy to see it on Turner, and of course watched it again!

I was hoping TCM would air it this year but no dice. I was rather disappointed. Maybe they will in 2017.
