Stunt flying in the movie

I think that my uncle Floyd "Speed" Nolta was the stunt pilot flying the C-47 that flies over the top of Lou Costello's head as Lou is driving down the runway. It's possible that Floyd was flying for Paul Mantz's flying company. Can anyone confirm anything about who did the stunt flying?
