Thanks to TCM's Fridays in July-I've been turned on to a great Film Noir Classic"Brute Force" I'm surprised I haven't heard of it or watched before.
Hume Cronyn blew me away-I'm used to his bookish characters or the good guy,Like "Sparks" from " Lifeboat"-the prison guard "Munsey" is absolutely diabolical .
Lancaster-is calm cool and collected-the retribution handed down to the "rats" -WOW!
What a great Prison Flick-I'll watch it again and again...

it's a solid noir movie, and being that prison escape movies are a sub genre i very much enjoy i had a good time with this one 7/10

so many movies, so little time
