Why was Davey's father killed?
Why did the smugglers kill Davey's dad? I don't see what they got out of it if they'd already been paid to smuggle the man into the U.S.
shareThe guy who shot him said that they had already been paid and so that they wouldn't talk - probably about them (the smugglers). You see the same thing happening today where illegal immigrants get abandoned in the desert or set adrift at sea - essentially left to die.
